Following her degree course in Modern Languages, BA Hons., Kim obtained a TEFL certificate to Teach English As A Foreign Language, has worked for several years in the clothing industry and eventually found her role as a therapist and teacher of holistic/self healing methods. She has been practising professionally since 1994 and holds a Diploma with Distinction in Allergy & Environmental Therapy.

Kim uses Kinesiology for allergy testing and lifestyle analysis, The Metamorphic Technique to get people to express their fullest potential (great for those ‘stuck in a rut’!), and direct healing through her hands.

Since 1994, realising the need to teach people to learn and use the same skills she is using, Kim started small workshops to introduce the therapies and their background teachings. She insists that a good therapist has put a lot of effort into his or her own development and thus passes this knowledge and purity of energy on to the client.

Kim has previously been a Full Healer Member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers and of the Metamorphic Association; she holds a Certificate in Kinesiology and Personal Development, and in Feng Shui Gong.

Kim Litchfield currently practises at Revitalize, has taught for the local Community in The Metamorphic Technique and Jewellery Making, and for local Colleges as a Specialist Tutor in all her holistic subjects.

The following is a brief description of the techniques and teachings that Kim offers.

Workshops with Kim Litchfield

The Metamorphic Technique
A brilliantly simple technique. A light touch to the spinal reflex (along the instep) of the feet, hands and head. Simple, non-invasive and profound. A quick ‘fix’ for stress and an amazing long term catalyst for personal growth.

Move Your Life Force
A two day workshop with morning exercises to help understand the energies at work during any healing session and the afternoons to practise The Metamorphic Technique.

Kinesiology
Meaning ‘muscle testing’, this technique can access the wisdom held in the body and hence be used as a tool for allergy testing and self development through a series of yes/no questions and answers.

Kinesiology for Personal Development
A introductory two day workshop in Applied Kinesiology, getting to grips with the technique and the correct line of questioning. Also learning to self-test and access inner wisdom and teaching.

The Chakras
A basic understanding of The Chakras or Energy centres which are situated in the head and along the spine. This understanding is considered a fundamental necessity to most healing systems and empowers us to heal ourselves.

The Chakra Jewels Workshop
An opportunity to experience how to access the Chakra system, energy centres which vibrate to colour and sound.
With the understanding that some centres may need a boost whilst others need to be toned down, we make a Chakra Pin to place on the lapel or in a plant pot so that it reflects the colour vibrations we need. Great fun whether for beginners or the more experienced.

Feng Shui Gong
Meaning ‘Wind, Water and Light’, this ancient Chinese art can be adapted for Western use in much simpler ways than most books would have us believe! Based on the principle that our environment is an extension of our energy field, by changing our surroundings we can change various aspects of our lives, such as career, health and relationships.

Feng Shui Gong for change
A one day introduction to Feng Shui Gong. The word ‘Gong’ is added to Feng Shui to denote that this is the intuitive system compared with other systems and the one used by the Masters. The aim is to ‘intuit’ energy sources and enhance or disperse them. A very interesting concept which does not rely on academic understanding but of a real understanding of the nature of ‘chi’ – the life-force energy that flows through the earth.

Meditation and Personal Development
A course of 6 classes in a small, intimate group to explore spiritual understanding and individual issues with support from like-minded people. Subjects include Chakras, Mandalas, the Masters, the Higher Self, the spirituality of pets, the Chinese Pulses and 5 element system, self healing, the auric field and many other esoteric topics.
